Product Description:
KY608 is a white powder high molecular weight phosphite based antioxidant (Bis(2,4-dicumylphenyl) pentaerythritol diphosphite, CAS No.: 154862-43-8). It offers good color protection, anti-yellowing performance, and thermal stability during high-temperature polymer processing. KY608 exhibits good processing stability (e.g. temperatures > 300°C), particularly suitable for high-temperature applications and engineering plastics in contrast to conventional phosphite based antioxidants.
KY608 effectively decompose hydroperoxides generated during the autoxidation process, thereby prevent yellowing and discoloration of polymers caused by oxidative degradation. This product provides good color protection during polymer compounding and processing in materials (e.g. PBT, PA), also offers good thermal stability and hydrolytic stability. Even when exposed to a high-humidity environment (>80% relative humidity) at room temperature for more than 30 days, the powder maintains good free-flowing properties without significant caking.

Application:
KY608 is especially suited for polymers such as high temperature processed engineering plastics and specialty engineering plastics (e.g. PC, PET, PA, PPA, PPS, PEEK, PPSU, etc.).
KY608 is also suited for non-engineering plastics (e.g. PF, PVC, PS, POM, ABS, PMMA, etc.). It provides good protection against oxidative degradation during melt processing and helps maintain the long-term stability of polymer materials. In addition, KY608 effectively minimizes high-temperature discoloration, helping maintain the original color and appearance of the polymer during processing.

KY608 is packed in paper-plastic bags with polyethylene inliner, 20.0kg per package.
Storage:
KY608 should be stored in a dry and cool place, avoid direct sunlight. Partially emptied containers should be carefully resealed after use.
