Description
FR-AMC01 is a halogen-free flame retardant based on organic phosphorus and nitrogen. It addresses the issue of poor physical properties in polyurethane flame retardant materials.
FR-AMC01 has several advantages as a flame retardant. It has excellent condensed phase and gas phase flame retardant properties, and its good resin compatibility solves the problem of poor physical properties in polyurethane flame retardant materials. By excluding red phosphorus from its composition, FR-AMC01 avoids the production of acidic substances that can result from red phosphorus absorbing moisture, preventing any negative impact on the product. Additionally, various color schemes can be achieved, allowing for a wider range of applications for the modified flame-retardant material.
Typical Properties
Physical Properties | Unit | Target Value |
Appearance | White Powder and Inclusion-Free | |
Water/Moisture | % (w/w) | 0.2 |
Decomposition Temperature | ℃ | 290 |
Average Particle Size (D50) | μm | 10 |
Usage
Ø In polyurethane systems:
FR-AMC01 has excellent flame-retardant properties in polyurethane systems. To achieve the UL 94 V-0 classification at a thickness of 1.6 mm, a typical dose of 15% FR-AMC01 is sufficient. Its impact resistance is 10% to 20% higher than that of conventional flame retardants.
Ø In Styrene-Ethylene-Butylene-Styrene (SEBS) Thermoplastic Elastomer system:
To achieve the UL 94 V-0 classification at a thickness of 1.6 mm, a typical dose of 30% FR-AMC01 is sufficient.
Ø Attention:
When using FR-AMC01, care should be taken to avoid excessive shear, which can cause decomposition. Additionally, since FR-AMC01 can absorb moisture, it is important to prevent moisture during the processing process.
Packaging & Storage
Packaged in a paper-plastic composite bag. 25 kg per package.
The product must be sealed, kept dry, dust-free, and cool.
