Halogen-free Flame Retardant for Transparent Epoxy Resin
Product Description:
FR-HP100 is an innovative, halogen-free flame retardant based on phosphazene chemistry, featuring a P-N backbone. When blended with epoxy resins, it solidifies into a clear, transparent material, ideal for a range of applications including copper-clad laminates, LED encapsulants, powder coatings, and more. Its versatility extends to transparent polycarbonates (PCs), benzoxazine resins, polyethylenes, and even viscose fiber spinning processes.
| Characteristics | Unit | Target Value |
| Appearance | White crystal | |
| Water/Moisture | % (w/w) | 0.1 |
| Phosphorus Content | % (w/w) | 13.4% |
| Chloride Ion | mg/L | < 20.0 |
| Melting Point | ℃ | 110 |
| Decomposition Temperature | ℃ | > 350 |
FR-HP100 is transparent mixed with epoxy resin, a 15% (by wt.) dosage is usually sufficient to obtain efficient flame retardant grades in contrast to conventional phosphorus-antimony-based flame retardants.
In transparent PC, a dosage of 8-10% (by wt.) FR-HP100 is usually sufficient to obtain the FV-0 classification.
In benzoxazine resin glass cloth laminate, a dosage of approx.10% (by wt.) of FR-HP100 is usually sufficient to obtain the FV-0 classification.
In the viscose fibre spinning, an appropriate dosage of FR-HP100 is mixed with the viscose fiber solution to obtain the flame retarded material with limiting oxygen index (LOI) approx. 26%.
Delivery Form:
White crystal.
Packing:
FR-HP100 is packed in paper-plastic bags with polyethylene inliner, 25kg per package.
