FB-PP300H is a brominated phosphorus and nitrogen synergistic flame retardant masterbatch for polypropylene (PP), containing 30% flame retardant and 70% PP carrier. This product is sutable for the modified PP like homopolymerisation, copolymerisation, and filling (e.g. talcum powder, barium sulfate, pigments) systems, and is widley used for general PP applications with UL94 V2 flame retardant rating, such as PP pipe, household appliances (heater casing, heater fan wheel, fan drum, socket), coil frame, corrugated tube, hollow boardheater, and etc. FB-PP300H is under the regulations (total halogent content of the flame retarded material < 900ppm) like RoHS, REACH, and PATH, when the dosage is less than 10.0% (by wt.).

Good processability in contrast to conventional powder flame retardats.
Offers a more economical solution compared to the commercial bromine-antimony based flame retardants, eliminating the need for antimony oxide supplementation.
Compliant with regulatory standards including RoHS, REACH, PAHS, based on the UL94 V2 flame retardant rating terminal products.
The FB-PP300H is compatible with both copolymer and homopolymer PP, as well as PP compounds reinforced with fillers like talc or barium sulfate. However, it is not suitable for use in calcium carbonate-based filling systems.
In PP Homopolymers:
A dosage of 2~3% (by wt.) of FB-PP300H is usually sufficient to achieve UL 94 V-2 (0.8~3.2mm) flame retardant rating, passing the glow wire test (GWIT 750°C and GWFI 960°C), and under the non-halogented regulations (Br% < 900ppm).
In PP Copolymers:
A dosage of 6~8% (by wt.) of FB-PP300H is usually sufficient to achieve UL 94 V-2 (0.8~3.2mm) flame retardant rating, passing the glow wire test (GWIT 750°C and GWFI 960°C), and under the non-halogented regulations (Br% < 900ppm).
Compliance with Regulatory Standards:
When the doasage of FB-PP300H is less than 10% (by wt.), the bromine content of the flame retarded material less than 900PPM, ensuring the terminal applications conforms to halogen-free regulations like RoHS, REACH, PAHS.
Supplied in 25 kg packages, each contained within a woven bag lined with plastic for added protection.
