Product Description:

FB-PP302H is a brominated phosphorus and nitrogen based flame retardant masterbatch, containing 30% flame retardant and 70% PP carrier resin. This product is specially developed for PP spinning, and it achieves efficient flame retardant effect such as B2 flame retardant rating or self-extinguishing. FB-PP302H flame retarded PP material has benefits on good stability on spinning and drawing, the continuous fabric with excellent surface luster, less blooming, and less side effect on physical and mechanical properties.

Applications

FB-PP302H is especially suitable for PP spinning and non-woven fabric. It is also suitable for PP based general applications such as heater casing, heater fan wheel, fan drum, coil frame, corrugated pipe, hollow board, electrical toilet seat, and etc.


In PP spinning, a dosage of approx. 2% (by wt.) of FB-PP302H is usually sufficient to achieve self-extinguishing; a dosage of approx. 5% (by wt.) of FB-PP302H is usually sufficient to achieve B2 flame retardant grade.


In PP injection molding, a dosage of 2-4% (by wt.) for the homo-polymerised PP, or 4-8% (by wt.) for the copolymerised PP is usually sufficient to achieve UL94 V2 flame retardant rating, passing the glow wire tests (GWIT 750°C and GWFI 960°C).


In PP spinning or injection molding, care must be taken that processing temperatures should be below 200°C, as overheating (above 230°C) may cause PP degradation and flame retardant decomposition.

FB-PP302H is packed in paper-plastic bags with polyethylene inliner, 25kg per package.


Storage:

FB-PP302H should be stored in a dry and cool place, avoid direct sunlight. Partially emptied containers should be carefully resealed after use.
