Non-halogenated Flame Retardant Masterbatch for PET Spinning
Product Description：
FB-PET40B is a non-halogenated flame retardant masterbatch based on phosphorus system specially developed for polyethylene terephthalate (PET). This product has benefits on good flame retardant effect, low dosage, good compatibility with PET, and good processability (e.g. low dust formation) in contrast to conventional powder flame retardants. FB-PET40B has low side effects on PET, and flame retarded materials exhibit excellent physical and mechanical properties. It is particularly suitable for textile and spinning in PET, and also suitable for applications such as PET chips, PET films, etc.

FB-PET40B is particularly suitable for textile and spinning in PET, and also suitable for applications such as PET chips, PET films, and etc.
A dosage of approx. 10% (by wt.) of FB-PET40B is usually sufficient to obtain VTM-2, with the limiting Oxygen Index (LOI) around 33%.
A dosage of approx. 30% (by wt.) of FB-PET40B is usually sufficient to obtain VTM-1 grade, with the LOI around 33%.
Care must be taken that dosage of FB-PET40B may vary based on the PET and processing conditions
Processing:
Pre-drying (e.g. 3-4h at 100-110℃) of FB-PET40B is recommended before homogeneously mixing it with PET, if even very low moisture content must be avoided.

FB-PET40B is packed in paper-plastic bags with polyethylene inliner, 25kg per package.
Storage:
FB-PET40B should be stored in a dry and cool place, avoid direct sunlight. Partially emptied containers should be carefully resealed after use.
