FB-PET40T
Non-halogenated Flame Retardant Masterbatch for Transparent PET
Product Description:
FB-PET40T is a non-halogenated flame retardant mastrebatch based on phosphate ester specially developed for polyethylene terephthalate (PET). This product has benefits on excellent flame retardant effect, high thermal stability, and good processability (e.g. less dust formation) in contrast to conventional powder flame retardants. FB- PET40T has good compatibility with resins, and the flame retarded PET exhibits good physical and mechanical properties. It is particularly suitable for transparent PET, such as chips, films, and etc.

Excellent flame retardant effect, and high thermal stability.
Good processability, less dust formation.
Good compatibility with PET, low precipitation.
Flame retarded PET exhibit good physical and mechanical properties.
Particularly suitable for transparent PET.
Non-halogenated flame retardant with favourable environment and health profile.
FB-PET40T is specially developed for transparent PET, and the most efficient flame retardant grade would be achieved.
A dosage of 8-15% (by wt.) of FB-PET40T is usually sufficient to achieve self-extinguishing, with the limiting oxygen Index (LOI) around 32%.
A dosage of approx. 30% (by wt.) of FB-PET40T is usually sufficient to obtain VTM-0 grade, with LOI around 32%.
Care must be taken that dosage of FB-PET40T may vary based on the PET and processing conditions.
Delivery Form:
White semi-transparent granule.
Packing:
FB-PET40T is packed in paper-plastic bags with polyethylene inliner, 25kg per package.
Storage:
FB-PET40T should be stored in a dry and cool place, avoid direct sunlight. Partially emptied containers should be carefully resealed after use.
