Non-halogenated Flame Retardant Masterbatch for PET Staple Fibre
Product Description：
FB-PET40G is a non-halogenated flame retardant masterbatch based on phosphorus system specially developed for polyethylene terephthalate (PET). This product has benefits on good flame retardancy, high phosphorus content, low dosage, good thermal resistance, good compatibility with PET, and good processability (e.g. no blooming) in contrast to conventional powder flame retardants. FB-PET40G has fewer side effects on PET, and flame retarded materials exhibit excellent physical and mechanical properties. It is suitable for PET staple fibre, industrial grade PET filament, PET construction mesh, PET sheet, PET film, etc.

FB-PET40G is particularly suitable for PET staple fibre, and also suitable for applications such as PET sheet, PET film, etc.
A dosage of approx. 6% (by wt.) of FB-PET40G is usually sufficient to obtain self-extinguishing, with the limiting oxygen index (LOI) above 32%.
Care must be taken that dosage of FB-PET40G may vary based on the PET and processing conditions.
Processing:
Pre-drying (e.g. 3-4h at 120-150℃) of FB-PET40G is recommended before homogeneously mixing it with PET, if even very low moisture content must be avoided.

FB-PET40G is packed in paper-plastic bags with polyethylene inliner, 25kg per package.
Storage:
FB-PET40G should be stored in a dry and cool place, avoid direct sunlight. Partially emptied containers should be carefully resealed after use.
