FB-PET40D
Flame Retardant Masterbatch for PET Film
Product Description:
FB-PET40D is a non-halogenated flame retardant masterbatch based on organic phosphorus specially developed for polyethylene terephthalate (PET). This product exhibits excellent flame retardant effect, good thermal stability, and good compatibility with polymer resins. FB-PET40D is particularly suitable for PET filament such as transparent bi-oriented (BOPET) film, and PET spinning, with low fibre breakage during drawing process.
Benefits:
Good flame retardancy, low dosage.
Good compatibility with PET, low blooming.
Good processability, low dust formation.
Flame retarded PET exhibits excellent physical and mechanical properties.
Non-halogenated flame retardant with favourable environment and health profile.

In PET Film, a dosage of approx. 10.0-30.0% (by wt.) of FB-PET40D is usually sufficient to obtain VTM-0 rating.
In transparent BOPET, a dosage of approx. 10.0% (by wt.) of FB-PET40D is usually sufficient to obtain VTM-2 rating, and a dosage of 35.0-40.0% (by wt.) is usually sufficient to obtain VTM-0 rating.
Processing:
Pre-drying (e.g. 3-4h at 100-110℃) of FB-PET40D is recommended before homogeneously mixing it with PET, if even very low moisture content must be avoided.
Packing and Handling:
Delivery Form:
White granule.
Packing:
FB-PET40D is packed in paper-plastic bags with polyethylene inliner, 25kg per package.
Storage:
FB-PET40D should be stored in a dry and cool place, avoid direct sunlight. Partially emptied containers should be carefully resealed after use.
