Non-halogenated Flame Retardant for Epoxy Hot Melt Adhesives
Product Description:
FR-B8011 is a phosphorus and nitrogen based flame retardant specifically developed for epoxy hot melt adhesives. It has excellent flame retardant effect thanks to a combination of a gas phase and a condensed phase by the synergistic effect, and its high char-forming efficiency, the stable solid is formed on the surface of material, to prevent oxygen accessing and molten material dripping. FR-B8011 has good compatibility with substrate resins, widely used in hot melt adhesives, anhydride epoxy sealants, polyurethane (PU), acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesives, and etc.

Applications:
In the use of adhesives and sealants (e.g. hot melt adhesives, anhydride epoxy sealants), a dosage of 15-18% (by wt.) of FR-B8011 is usually sufficient to obtain the UL94 V-0 classification.
FR-B8011 is also suitable for the use such as PU, acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesives, and etc.
