Product Description:
FR-X9805 is a white transparent powdery flame retardant based on organosilicon sulfonates for polycarbonate (PC). The non-halogenated product has good thermal stability, high flame retardant efficient, and less mold corrosion. FR-X9805 has less side effects on mechanical and electrical property of PC, and particularly suitable for the non-transparent applications like PC panel. The non-halogenated product has favourable environment and health profiles, complying with the regulations such as RoHS, REACH, etc.

FR-X9805 has the improved synergistic flame retardant effects with our products, in terms of FR-418 (potassium perfluorobutyl sulfonate), FR-X9800 (organosilicon-based flame retardant), and FR-PT105 (anti-dripping agent). Care must be taken that toughening agents have largely side effects on the flame retardancy of FR-X9805.
In the use of PC system, a combined dosage of approx. 0.2-0.3% (by wt.) each of FR-X9805 and FR- PT105 is usually sufficient to obtain the UL94 V-0 classification (1.6mm).
