Phosphorus-nitrogen-based Flame Retardant Masterbatch
Product Description:
FB-PA40MZ is an organic phosphorus and nitrogen based flame retardant masterbatch, with polyamide 6 (PA 6/ nylon 6) carrier. This product has good flame retardant effect, and the flame retarded material has good textile and spinning capability. FB-PA40MZ has benefits on good compatibility with textile and spinning systems, and the reduced risks of silk breakage in contrast to conventional melamine cyanurate based flame retardant masterbatch. The non-halogenated product is complying with the regulations such as RoHS, REACH, etc.

Applications:
In the use of PA 6 or PA66 textile and spinning, a dosage of approx. 6-10% (by wt.) of FB-PA40MZ is usually sufficient to obtain the UL94 V-2 rating, with limiting oxygen index (LOI) higher than 30%.
In the use of PA injection molding or glass fiber reinforced nylon modification, a dosage of approx. 8-12% of FB-PA40MZ is sufficient to obtain the UL94 V-2 classification (1.6 mm).
Care must be taken that FB-PA40MZ may be ineffective by olefins or organosilicon compounds.
Packing:
FB-PA40MZ is packed in paper-plastic bags with polyethylene inliner, 25kg per package.
Storage:
FB-PA40MZ should be sealed and stored in a dry and cool place, avoid direct sunlight. Partially emptied containers should be carefully resealed after use.
