Product Description:
SR-400 is a white, carrier-free powder based on polysiloxane for high temperature engineering plastics. It exhibits excellent high temperature resistance in contrast to silicone masterbatch products containing thermoplastic resins carriers. SR-400 is suitable for applications such as plastic modification and injection molding.

SR-400 is suitable for materials like engineering plastics and rubber.
In injection molding:
A dosage of 0.3-1.0 (by wt.) of SR-400 is usually sufficient to reduce torque and die pressure during extrusion, with production capacity increased and energy consumption reduced.
As the internal lubricant, SR-400 is suitable for improving flame retardant dispersion, and reducing die buildup.
SR-400 is also suitable for improving demolding, the mold recycle is shortened thanks to the enhanced filling effect and material fluidity
In plastic modification:
In glass fiber reinforced materials, SR-400 is suitable for improving its appearance (e.g. less surface blooming); enhancing abrasion resistance (thanks to improving material scratch resistance and reducing coefficient of friction); improving mechanical properties (e.g. glossiness, roughness).
Processing:
Care must be taken that SR-400 should be homo-dispersed into the resins for injection molding and plastic modification processing.

SR-400 is packed in paper-plastic bags with polyethylene inliner, 25kg per package.
Storage:
SR-400 should be stored in a dry and cool place, avoid direct sunlight.
