Description
FR-AHP02 is a new phosphorus-silicon based flame retardant developed by Yinyuan. Unlike conventional phosphorus-nitrogen based flame retardants, it does not cause corrosion of screws or molds, nor does it produce small molecule precipitation during long-term injection. Additionally, FR-AHP02 does not produce acidoid when exposed to moisture, providing stability for the end product.
FR-AHP02 offers several advantages. It has excellent flame retardant properties and is cost-effective. Additionally, it has a low density and is compatible with polymer substrates. FR-AHP02 does not produce acidoid when it absorbs moisture, ensuring the stability of the end product. Products made using FR-AHP02 have excellent color stability and no air lines in their appearance. These properties make FR-AHP02 a reliable and effective flame retardant for a variety of applications.
Typical Properties
Physical Properties | Unit | Target Value |
Appearance | White Powder | |
Density | g/cm3 | 1.45 |
Phosphorus Content | % | 24-25 |
Water/Moisture | % | 0.2 |
Decomposition Temperature (at 2% weight loss) | ℃ | 320 |
Average Particle Size (D50) | μm | 20-40 |
Usage
Ø In PA6 and PA66 with 30% glass fibre:
To achieve a UL 94 V-0 classification for electrical compounds at a thickness of 1.6mm, a typical dose of 14-15% FR-AHP02 is usually sufficient. The resulting compounds have a tensile strength of at least 140 MPa and a notch impact strength of at least 14 KJ/m3. Additionally, FR-AHP02 has excellent color adjustability.
Ø For the requirements of CTI / GWIT / GWFI:
The compound's Comparative Tracking Index (CTI) can reach 600V. Additionally, the compound has a low density, which results in low-density electrical compounds that do not affect the mechanical properties of the compounds.
Ø Under the 85℃ / 85% RH tests:
FR-AHP02 has the advantage of hardly precipitating, making it significantly better than conventional phosphorus-nitrogen based flame retardants.
Packaging & Storage
Paper-plastic composite packaging. 25kg per package.
The product must be sealed, kept dry, dust-free, and cool.
