Halogenated Flame Retardant for PC
Product Description:
FR-412 is a white powdery flame retardant based on sulfonate for polycarbonate (PC). This product has good thermal stability and low corrosiveness to molds. FR-412 exhibits negligible impacts on mechanical and physical property of the flame retarded PC.

Application:
In the use of PC, a dosage of 0.2-0.5 % (by w/w) of FR-412 is usually sufficient to achieve UL94 V-0 rating (1.6 mm), with a light transmittance higher than 90%.
FR-412 also has a good synergistic flame retardant effect with silicone based flame retardants.
It is recommended to pre-disperse PC powder and lubricant before use, and care must be taken to ensure homogeneous dispersion of all synergistic components and the PC resin.

FR-412 is packed in paper-plastic bags with polyethylene inliner, 20kg per package.
Storage:
FR-412 should be sealed and stored in a dry and cool place. Partially emptied containers should be carefully resealed after use.
