Products Description:
SR-AS300 is a supramolecular polysiloxanes based silicone mastrebatch, with acrylonitrile-styrene copolymer (AS) as the carrier resin. This specially designed ploysiloxane has good compatibility with AS, suited for materials such as AS, ABS, ABS/PC, PC, PS, etc. SR-AS300 is suitable for the usage such as shortening molding cycles, improving processability, reducing the coefficient of friction, enhancing abrasion resistance, and improving hydrophobicity of materials.

Application:
SR-AS300 is suitable for materials such as AS, ABS, ABS/PC, PC, PS, etc.
In extrusion and molding:
A dosage of 0.3-1.0% (by wt.) of SR-AS300 is usually sufficient to reduce torque and die pressure during extrusion process, enhance production capacity, and save energy consumption.
De-molding is improved during the injection molding and scratch is reduced.
In finished parts:
Glass fibre rich surface is reduced in fiber-reinforced materials.
Scratch resistance is improved.
Friction coefficient of the product surface is reduced, and the abrasion resistance is enhanced.
Processing:
Pre-drying (e.g. 4h at 110℃) of SR-AS300 is recommended, if even very low moisture content must be avoided.
Care must be taken that SR-AS300 and resin should be well-mixed for both injection molding and plastic modification by extruder.

Packing:
SR-AS300 is packed in paper-plastic bags with polyethylene inliner, 25kg per package.
Storage:
SR-AS300 should be stored in a dry and cool place, avoid direct sunlight. Partially emptied containers should be carefully resealed after use.
