Silicone Masterbatch for PA
Product Description:
SR-PA700 is a supramolecular polysiloxanes based silicone masterbatch, with polyamide 6 (PA 6) as the carrier resin. This specially designed ploysiloxane has good compatibility with PA 6 and PA 66. SR-PA700 is suitable for applications such as enhancing abrasion resistance of nylon materials.

Applications:
SR-PA700 is specially developed for PA 6 and PA66:
In extrusion and molding:
A dosage of 0.3-1.0% (by wt.) of SR-PA700 is usually sufficient to reduce torque and die pressure during the extrusion process, enhance production capacity, and save energy consumption.
De-molding is improved and mold recycle is also shortened thanks to the enhanced filling effect and material fluidity.
In finished parts:
In glass fiber reinforced PA parts, SR-PA700 is suitable for improving surface blooming.
SR-PA700 is also suitable for improving material scratch resistance, reducing coefficient of friction, thereby enhancing abrasion resistance.
Processing:
Predrying (e.g. 4h at 110℃) of SR-PA700 is recommended, if even very low moisture content must be avoided.
Care must be taken that SR-PA700 and resin should be well-mixed for both injection molding and plastic modification.

SR-PA700 is packed in paper-plastic bags with polyethylene inliner, 25kg per package.
Storage:
SR-PA700 should be stored in a dry and cool place, avoid direct sunlight. Partially emptied containers should be carefully resealed after use. It is however usually not necessary to predry the product before use.
