Silicone Masterbatch for PE
SR-500 is a silicone masterbatch with polyethylene resin as the carrier and ultra-high molecular weight polysiloxane as the main component, which uses a high-efficiency dispersion combining craft to disperse the silicone in the polyethylene resin evenly. While regular silicone masterbatches can improve the texture and scratch resistance of materials like TPE, its poor compatibility with materials can also cause problems during the extrusion of wires, leading to easy separation and accumulation, thus forming die buildup, slag, and reducing product appearance and production efficiency. SR-500 is designed to avoid these issues.

SR-500 is suitable for materials such as PVC, TPE, TPV, and etc.
In injection molding:
A dosage of 0.3-3.0 (by wt.) of SR-500 is usually sufficient to reduce torque and die pressure during extrusion, with production capacity increased and energy consumption reduced.
As the internal lubricant, SR-500 is suitable for improving flame retardant dispersion, and reducing die buildup.
SR-500 is also suitable for improving demolding, the mold recycle is shortened thanks to the enhanced filling effect and material fluidity
In plastic modification:
In glass fiber reinforced materials, SR-500 is suitable for improving its appearance (e.g. less surface blooming); enhancing abrasion resistance (thanks to improving material scratch resistance and reducing coefficient of friction); improving mechanical properties (e.g. glossiness, roughness)
Care must be taken that SR-500 should be homo-dispersed into the resins for injection molding and plastic modification processing.

SR-500 is packed in paper-plastic bags with polyethylene inliner, 25kg per package.
Storage:
SR-500 should be stored in a dry and cool place, avoid direct sunlight.
