Transparent Flame Retardant Auxiliary
Product Description：
FR-CFA-T is a flame retardant auxiliary working as both char-forming agent and acid donor. This
product is fine-grained, and has good compatibility with polymers and excellent char-foaming ability incontrast to commercial char-foaming agents such as pentaerythritol, dipentaerythritol, tripentaerythritol, and pentaerythritol phosphate. FR-CFA-T achieves the improved flame retardant effect by combined with other auxiliaries. FR-CFA-T complies with the regulation such as RoHS, REACH, PAHs, and etc

Applications:
FR-CFA-T is suitable for the use such as transparent wood-coating, water-based acrylic coatings,
and etc.
The most efficient flame retardant grade is usually obtained by in combination of FR-CFA-T and
ammonium polyphosphate, with excellent intumescent flame retardant effect. In the water-based
acrylic resin system, a combination dosage of 25-30% (by wt.) FR-AP1012 with 6.3-7.5% (by wt.) FR
-CFA-T, is usually sufficient to obtain good flame retardant grade for transparent wood coating.
The synergistic flame retardant effect is obtained by in combination of FR-CFA-T with inorganic
compounds (e.g. hypophosphite, silica).
Care must be taken that flame retardant effect of FR-CFA-T is impacted by inorganic fillers (eg.
calcium carbonate, carbon black, talcum powder, barium sulfate, and magnesium hydroxide).
Azo pigment is recommended, with the minimum addition amount to avoid side effects on FR-CFA-T.
Packing and Handling：
Packing:
FR-CFA-T is packed in paper-plastic bags with polyethylene inliner, 25kg per package.
Storage:
FR-CFA-T must be sealed, stored in a dry and cool place.
