Product Description:
FB-PP509H is a brominated phosphorus and nitrogen based flame retardant masterbatch for polypropylene (PP), containing 50% flame retardant and 50% PP carrier resin. This product is specially developed for automotive PP corrugated pipe, which achieves the self-extinguishing flame retardant rating after 90℃ baking treatment for 1000 hours. FB-PP509H exhibits good compatibility with PP materials such as homo-polymerised, co-polymerised, and filled systems (suitable filler e.g. suitable for talcum powder, pigments; unsuitable filler e.g. calcium carbonate). FB-PP509H achieves UL94 V-2 flame retardant rating under environmental regulations (total halogen content of the flame retarded material < 900ppm) such as RoHS, REACH, and PAHs.

Applications:
FB-PP509H is specially developed for electric automotive PP corrugated pipes, a dosage of 6-8% (by wt.) is usually sufficient to achieve self-extinguishing flame retardant rating after 90℃ baking treatment for 1000 hours.
FB-PP509H is also suitable for injection molding and applications such as PP corrugated pipes, household appliances, coil frame, hollow board, and etc.
FB-PP509H is compatible with homo-polymerised and co-polymerised, as well as filled PP systems (suitable filler, e.g. talcum powder, barium sulfate; unsuitable filler, e.g. calcium carbonate).
In homo-polymerised PP, a dosage of 2-3% (by wt.) of FB-PP509H is usually sufficient to achieve UL 94 V-2 (0.8-3.2mm), passing the glow wire tests (GWIT 750°C and GWFI 960°C).
In co-polymerised PP, a dosage of 5-7% (by wt.) of FB-PP509H is usually sufficient to achieve UL 94 V-2 (0.8-3.2mm), passing the glow wire tests (GWIT 750°C and GWFI 960°C).

Storage:
