Product Description:
FB-PP500H is a brominated phosphorus and nitrogen based flame retardant masterbatch for polypropylene (PP). It is suitable for materials such as homo-polymerised, co-polymerised, and filled PP systems. This low-bromine content product achieves its good flame retardant effect on low dosage, no blooming, and environment-friendly. FB-PP500H is widely used for general applications based on PP materials with UL94 V2 rating, such as household appliances, coil frame, corrugated pipes, hollow board. FB-PP500H is under regulations (total halogen content of the flame retarded material < 900ppm) such as RoHS, REACH, and PAHs, when the dosage is less than 15.0% (by wt.).

Applications:
FB-PP500H is widely used for general applications based on PP materials with UL94 V2 rating, such as household appliances (e.g. heater casing, heater fan wheel, fan drum), coil frame, corrugated pipe, hollow board, and etc.
FB-PP500H is compatible with homo-polymerised and co-polymerised, as well as filled PP systems (suitable filler, e.g. talcum powder, barium sulfate; unsuitable filler, e.g. calcium carbonate).
In homo-polymerised PP, a dosage of 2-3% (by wt.) of FB-PP500H is usually sufficient to achieve UL 94 V-2 (0.8-3.2mm), passing the glow wire tests (GWIT 750°C and GWFI 960°C).
In co-polymerised PP, a dosage of 4-10% (by wt.) of FB-PP500H is usually sufficient to achieve UL 94 V-2 (0.8-3.2mm), passing the glow wire tests (GWIT 750°C and GWFI 960°C).
Care must be taken that processing temperatures should be below 200°C in injection molding, as overheating (above 230°C) may cause PP degradation and flame retardant decomposition.

FB-PP500H is packed in paper-plastic bags with polyethylene inliner, 25kg per package.
Storage:
FB-PP500H should be stored in a dry and cool place, avoid direct sunlight. Partially emptied containers should carefully resealed after use.
